I chose this country because it is a really cool country and it has

 really cool wildlife like elephants zebras giraffes and lions I really want to go there when I get older.

Zentangle art

first we had to get a turtle and trace it.


then we had to draw the patterns in pencil.

third we had to go over the patterns in 
vivid.

fourth we had to cut them out .

then we dye our backgrounds.

and last we glued our animal on.

and it was very fun the hardest part was drawing the patterns. have you ever made of Zentangle art of before.

math strategy

W.A.L.T use place value partitioning to solve addition problems.


Last week my group the triangles were using the strategy of place value partitioning to solve addition problems. This is when you add the hundreds, then tens, then ones together separately, and then you add them altogether at the end. Below is a picture of how to do this. 

here are a few problems you can work out

2. Caleb had 276 sheep and he gave 96 to Jess how many sheep     does Caleb have now.

how bees make honey

W.A.L.T write an explanation piece of writing.

Did you know 1 bee has to fly around the globe three times to make 1 lb of honey and for us to just steal it off them!

Bees like to collect honey in spring when the flowers are in bloom. then they soak it up with their straw-like tongues and store it in their stomach. When they're full they fly back home to the hive.

While the honey is inside the bees stomach it mixes with proteins and vitamins. When the bees get back home they find an empty comb and spit the honey into it then cover it with wax.

then the beekeepers come and take it off them then it goes to big factories.

I am proud of the images I used because they describe the piece of writing I think I need to work punctuation because I don't have much.
