Yesterday for for our literacy task we had to create 3 haiku poems a haiku poem is a short poem that has to rhyme do you have to have about five syllables on the first one seven on the second and five on the third one I'm not very good at rhyming but I gave it my best shot and here's what I come up with.  

Summer 

The warm Summer Breeze, 

Ice blocks give me a brain freeze,

is back and hot, 

Winter 

The shivering air, 

Fires going and snow on the path, 

Winter is finally here, 

Covid 

Covid is now here, 

But no one knows how and where, 

maybe it will disappear,

today for writing we had to do a free write I wrote about a mysterious bag here it is

The Mysterious bag When the teacher comes in she places a white paper bag on her desk then she walks out of the classroom again. Then the bag starts moving and the whole class is still for a moment. It feels like forever until someone says “is that bag really moving”a boy say’s “yes I think it is” the class was silent. Then the teacher walks in. A girl says “there's something in your bag Miss” the teacher says “don't worry it's only my pet mouse Raty' ' I bought him to show you. The whole class quivered. One boy said “can we see him? '' The teacher said “sure he is a very small Mouse”. The teacher pulls him out and all the girls screamed… As the little mouse jumped out of the teacher's hands and lept on a girl's desk. And scampered up her head he just sat there “don't move '' the teacher said. Some boys laughed and some girls screamed but the girl that had the mouse on her head screamed louder than everyone and flicked the mouse off her head. Raty took off and disappeared under a pile of books...

My holiday

Two weeks ago I went fishing with my dad my brother and my cousin we went to North Cape we jigged all the way up to North Cape but got nothing so we went for a dive to get some crayfish it was hard but I finally got my first one I was very happy and took it straight to the boat after a little bit more diving everyone was starting to get a bit cold so we started heading home on the way we stopped at a few good snapper spots the first fish we caught was the one I caught which was a 19.96 pounder I was bummed that it wasn't 20 pounds but I've already caught a 20 pounder before so it didn't matter that much we filled up the bin with a few decent sized fish. Everyone caught a fish that day we were very happy and went home With a bin full of snapper and some crayfish.

For today our task was to write an action story and use lots of vocab here is mine.

Odds VS Turbo 

In the city of yorknew where the city is protected by the superhero called turbo and the city is always under attack by many super masterminds, but there is one very bad one and his name is Odds. He is a very skilled fighter he was abandoned by his family then he turned evil and he said ‘’I WILL DESTROY ALL’’ Said Odds so that is his backstory but he is coming today over and out yorknew ‘’Hey Odds, what are you doing here?’’ Said turbo ‘’Ha maybe just getting my revenge let’s just get over with this fight, this city will be destroyed!’’ They rush at each other BAM! BANG! BOOM! They clash at each other neck to neck building fell like a feather but hard like a rock when it fell. KAPOW! ‘’I am puffed you have gotten way stronger than I last saw you’’ said Turbo ‘’Muhahahahah I am not puffed at all!’’ Said Odds. They battle and fight for ages but then Odds had fallen and turbo won.

Today we had a task about the area of a triangle we had a bunch of different triangles                          to find out the area the area is like the inside of the triangle this was kind of hard because I've never done it before but I've got it in the end after that we had to create a poster about the area of a triangle and explain what it is here is mine.
