This week we have to make an online quiz about decimals. it was hard because we had hyperlinked lots of things but I still think it was very fun. and I think I made a good quiz I hope you enjoy it.

the Griffin

he tied off boat and started climb can you know one head lived to tell what was behind the cloud but still he climbed and climbed it took ages but finally he got to the top as he walked into the cloud he was amazed by what he saw it was a gigantic castle what ever lived there must have been huge then he saw a Griffin it was at the top of the castle in its nest he could see 4 baby Griffins each one the size of a small whale it was amazing no one had ever seen a it was Griffin before

today I read (my name is Rez) we  had to find the meaning of three words and make a sentence. and we then we had to choose our own 
three words and search the 
meaning. first we had to read 
the book and find the words. 
and then search the words because 
we didn't know the meaning.

bok choy

Bok choy is a story about a Chinese man that comes NZ and tries to sell bok choy which is a veastble . the story is based in a Chinese village in NZ their are some main characters - Mrs Bishop, Ah Sum, Jacob, William and Jacob’s mum. The story starts with Jacob helping his mother stack firewood and Ah Sum comes to sell his vegetables. Jacob’s mother likes to buy the vegetables from Ah Sum, but Mrs Bishop just makes racist comments and makes fun of him. Ah Sum carries on and then once Mrs Bishop and Jacob’s mum go inside, the two boys talk about the Bok Choy. Jacob is grumpy because his mother keeps buying veges so he decides to go fishing in the river. He falls and slips into the river and he can’t get onto the rocks or stand. He tries to grab a rock but gets knocked out. He wakes up in Ah Sum’s hut and doesn’t know where he is because he’s never been to the Chinese village before. Ah sum takes care of him and says his mum is coming soon his Jacobs mum comes and takes him back to their village and they stand up to Mrs Bishop about the bok choy.

the story is very cool to read because Ah sum made friends.
my favourite part was when Ah sum saved Jacob from drowning.

Today's reading task was to pretend you were Ah sum from the book Bok Choy and write a letter to his family in China about how his life has been in New Zealand.
  
He told them about how he was 
getting bullied by the people who 
called him Chinese man. This changed when he 
saved a boy called Jacob and he got 
some friends.

to create Ah sum's hut I chose to create it with tinkercad because you can make it more 3D I put a fire table and cushions and lots more I think tinkercad is really fun and I should use the more have you used tinkercad before
