Maori myths.

We have been looking at Maori myths and legends, we read the creation story and made an animation about it. I enjoyed making this animation because I learnt about the Maori gods. Who is your favourite maori god?

Movie Storyboard

Last term we looked at movie making. We worked with Harley Alexander to learn how to use all the equipment for filming and all the different camera shots. We planned our movie on a storyboard and then we filmed all the different scenes.

My favourite part of this activity was filming because we got to act like real police and arrest Taine.

World War 1 fact file.

For literacy this week we read and researched about World War One we had to make a fact file about new things we learnt. Here is my fact file. I enjoyed making the fact file and reading about WW1 because it was interesting. Do you know anything about WW1?

On Saturday me and dad went on the farm to shift the cows and calves we had shifted the last mob and we were coming up the hill and I spotted about 15 Piglets dad said we can get some, so we snuck up on them dad jumped on 2. and I ran after 1 and jumped I got its tail but it got away and ran throw the fence. and into the bush, so we tied up the 2 that dad had got and took them home. when we got home we put them in the horse float and gave them some hay.

Maths problem solving

    This week we were looking at the different vocab in maths problems so we know how to answer questions in maths. For this activity we had to make our own word problem using maths words.
I liked this activity because we got to choose whatever we wanted to make a story about.
What type of question do you think I made?                                                                                             Taine had 35 kgs of sugar. Ben gave him another 58 kgs of sugar how much does he have altogether?

Zombie apocalypse

It was a normal day at my little red house I went to go outside there were dead flowers scattered around on the street like skeletons. I turned the car keys BROOM I cruise around the town all doors were all locked up now I realized everything... was silent like a rock. I kept driving around the town. What is THAT?!!!! A zombie it was ugly like a spider making web AHHHH!! I dived back I locked my doors and windows I was thinking about what to DO? 3 hours later my door started knocking KNOCK!! KNOCK!! The door fell ahhh the eyes of the zombie we're bloodshot like a bat searching for blood. I went up the stairs to grab my axe the axe it was as sharp as an eye of an eagle as I broke open the window As the glass shattered I jump out and ran like a jaguar hunting for prey as I got to forest I jump up a tree so no zombie could see me. As a zombie walked past I jump and swing my axe like a lumberjack cutting down a tree Splat 1 zombie down 4 million to go.

 Day 2 I went back to the town to loot all the houses as I went to the towns gun shop I heard a can dropped to the floor I got my axe ready to strike like a snake I walked in and run beside the counter it was the shop owner wait I recognize you your Enzo from school did you there was a zombie apocalypse going around yes that's why I was behind the counter a CRACK like a stick snapping get behind!! the counter rusty!!! Use the guns in the safe whats the code its 15633 ok hurry up bro ok ok cling cling cling like a clock ticking quick the zombie is coming to grab the bag I'm getting the guns pick your gun rusty AK407 pick your gun can i have commando bang bang bang the gun noise was loud it blew my eardrums out like a bazooka 13 dead 3 million and 989 to go 2…2 more to go.

Day 3
Me and Enzo found a car it was flash like gold we were on the way to the airport to fly to Canada as we got on the plane it was very bumpy as Enzo and me took off in the plane I heard a sssscrach on the side of the plane I looked over ahhhh that gave me a fright what was it rusty puff puff a zombie what!!! Let me look so I look over and it was a zombie I look around there was more climbing up the plane everybody started screaming when they saw zombies if this keeps on going we will miss our flight Enzo yea.do you still have your guns year grab a parachute ok open the door, ok here we go jump!!!!woohoo Look a tree hut Enzo year let's loot it ok bang crash like a elephant stomping ow are you ok yea come on let’s go find that treehouse here is there tree hut this is cool let's go in ok hi did you experience zombie apocalypse yes what is that in the water zombies that’s why I'm in the tree hut I’m am a general from the army...Enzo do you still have the guns, no I think I lost them in the full I have tons of guns hurry up the zombie are onshore I'm running to the guns!!! In the cupboard ok got them to take one I will take the uzi do you have a commando yes I will take the scorpion OK LET’S Fire!!!!!!!

The life cycle of a frog consists of three stages: egg, larva, and adult. As the frog grows it moves through these stages in a process known as metamorphosis.
